The international media and communications division of the Universal Peace Federation
The Office of Communications is a key division within the Universal Peace Federation's International Secretariat. Based at 866 United Nations Plaza in New York City, we serve as the central communications hub coordinating public messaging, media engagement, and content strategy for UPF's global network spanning over 157 countries.
As part of an international organization with NGO General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the Office of Communications ensures that UPF's mission of peace, interfaith cooperation, and family values reaches diverse audiences worldwide.
The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) is an international and interreligious network of individuals and organizations, including representatives from religion, government, civil society, and the private sector, dedicated to achieving world peace.
UPF supports the work of the United Nations, particularly in the areas of interfaith peacebuilding, peace education, and the strengthening of marriage and family. Founded on the principle that lasting peace requires cooperation across boundaries of nationality, religion, and ethnicity, UPF works to create a global family of peace.
Through its communications, the Office supports all of UPF's core program areas:
The Office of Communications coordinates with UPF regional offices across six continental regions: Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe & Middle East, Latin America & Caribbean, North America, and Northeast Asia. This global network enables us to report on peace activities from every corner of the world and ensure unified messaging across all platforms.
We envision a world of permanent peace, home to a harmonious global community, based on interdependence, mutual prosperity, and universally shared values.
